i began painting these cornflowers back in february on a getaway with ,y husband. one afternoon, he went fishing and i started journaling with God. this last year was a drought year in the hill country. dry grass everywhere and very limited growth for lack of rain. my heart longed for color. i had watched this one particular weey plant springing up in my garden and thought, "i'm just going to let it grow" and soon a beautiful cornflower emmerged like a fresh rain! i'm so grateful that i can choose to grow...even in drought and always in The Light!
