This little, original  6"x 8" in. watercolor and pencil sketch is of my favorite flower, chammomile. whenever i feel stuck i find myself paintiing it. one of the most beautiful things about it is how the heads of the flowers will sometimes hang. when it dries it looks so humble. it reminds me that that is the posture i need to stay in before the Lord. head bowed but not only out of humility but out of rest because it is in His sweet hands that i find my peace.
